When my youngest was a baby, I was wrapping empty boxes to put under the tree just to make the pictures look like we had more than we really did. Less clutter frees up so much time and energy. If you have less stuff, then you will spend less time cleaning and organizing. Less time deciding what to keep, sell or donate. Think of how much calmer you feel in a clean, organized and clutter free space. Believe it or not, our kids have the same response to a clean space. They just don't yet have the skills to organize and maintain their space for themselves.
